Innovative Online Resource Launched to Monitor the Tobacco Industry

An innovative new online tobacco control resource, TobaccoTactics.org, was recently launched by the Tobacco Control Research Unit at the University of Bath in England. The new website will provide up to date information on the tobacco industry, with nearly 500 profiles on tobacco companies around the globe.

The website will serve as a tool for tobacco control advocates to explore how the tobacco industry interferes in public policy and uses misleading tactics to further its own agenda. Tobacco industry internal documents and information on front groups will also be featured on the website, providing a unique insight to the inner workings of the tobacco industry.
